In an interview, last night with Sean Hannity Donald Trump demanded the Wall if the Democrats want to protect “Dreamers”
“Look, we have 800,000 people. They’re not necessarily young… but a lot of these people are in the military, they have jobs… but if we’re going to do something, we have to get something in return. And what I want is tremendous border regulation, I want the wall, and we’re going to get other things. And we’re going to see if we can work something out. Now, whether or not we do, I don’t know. But it would be wonderful to solve the DACA problem.”
This is the best version of Trump I have heard yet on the DACA issue. He correctly points out that the vast of the “Dreamers” they talk about aren’t children. He also shows the willingness to do a deal with the Democrats on this issue if they are willing to give him the border wall and more security as well. By doing this Trump has completely taken the blame off himself as it pertains to the “Dreamers” because he is willing to keep them in America if the Democrats are willing to compromise.
