Report: In 2016, Over 21% of inmates in Federal Prisons were illgeal aliens

According to new data from the Bureau of Justice, 21% of inmates in Federal prisons in 2016 were illegal aliens.

BJS:

At year-end 2016, more than 21 percent of federal prisoners (39,956 of 189,192) were non-U.S. citizens (excluding persons detained by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security).
