December 12th NBA Fanduel Lineup

Lots of curveballs as of late that have caused me to have minimal winnings. Tonight we look to get back on track.

PG: Deron Williams: $6200

Willims has been playing very well. He is playing against a Denver team that is ranked 28th against opposing point guards and should have plenty of opportunity to score against them. Williams is safe play due to the fact that he doesn’t need to score to hit value. He has shown the ability to get assists and rebounds which makes him a lock to hit value. Tonight he has a chance to exceed value. Plus I feel he can have a great scoring night as well as fill up the stat sheet in other categories.

PG: Damian Lillard: $9600

Damian Lillard is someone who is really hit or miss. We have seen him have 40+ and 50+ fantasy point games this year but we have also seen him produce duds. These duds are few and far between but are still something to look out for. Lillard is pretty much matchup proof and seems to play better in big games. The only thing is that if Griffin doesn’t play for the Clippers tonight then I would play Chris Paul instead of Lillard because he gains a lot of usage without Griffin in the lineup.

SG: James Harden: $11400

Harden is getting cheaper but his production hasn’t dipped all that much. He is now at a price that makes me love him as a play tonight. He can easily get you 50-60 fantasy points and always has a chance to give you more. Playing against a putrid Nets team will give him a chance to put up crazy numbers. Harden may even be a little underowned tonight because The “Greek Freak” is cheaper and there is a blowout factor in this game.

SG: Wesley Matthews: $5700

Wesley Matthews has a huge ceiling tonight. He is coming off two 30+ fantasy point games and Denver is not going to stop that. Pairing Williams with Matthews isn’t an issue due to the fact that Matthews success will lead to Williams getting more assists.

SF: Rudy Gay: $7000

Bottom line is I like his matchup against the Lakers and he should have no problem dominating the weak Lakers defense. You also have to keep in mind that this game will stay close in which case Gay will get more than enough time to exceed value. Gay will likely be owned by a lot of people tonight so fading him may be risky.

SF: DeMarre Carroll: $4200

Carroll is so underpriced it is tough for me to pass him up. I don’t trust any of the higher priced guys in this game so I attacked the value plays(you will see my other value player later). The Bucks struggle against the small forward position and Carroll should be able to at least get value tonight. Carroll doesn’t have the highest amount of usage but is someone who always seems to be a good play when you need value. I don’t seem him doing anything crazy tonight but he is someone who allows us to fit other improant pieces into our lineups and you need guys like him to cash.

PF: Larry Nance Jr.: $4200

With Randle questionable with a hip injury Nance becomes a great play. Nance is someone who is productive when he is given the time and even sometimes off the bench. The Kings are ranked 26th against opposing Power Forwards so if he starts he becomes a must play for me.

PF: Patrick Patterson: $4400

Patterson is a cheap option who isn’t that high of a risk. Even off the bench he is almost guaranteed to make value due to his 29 minutes a game and just overall ability. Patterson is also a guy who if he is hot from three can exceed value and is almost always underowned. Not many people know about him because he doesn’t start so this is a good way to get value most people wont have.

C: DeAndre Jordan: $6900

Jordan hasn’t had a fantasy outburst in quite sometime. His last two games were a 28 and 29 fantasy point outing. I am hoping for a lot more then that tonight. Playing against a Trailblazers team that has no one on this roster to stop him Jordan should dominate. Jordan should produce a decent amount of points, rebounds and blocks and I think his ceiling is around 40-50 fantasy points. I don’t see a center with higher upside tonight and I feel as if he is someone I need to play.
