This was a great move by Trump. By allowing the media to cover this and him playing the great bipartisan negotiator he won big in the eyes of the American people. This love fest will certainly help his approval rating and help win over moderates on both sides. The only way this could turn bad is if Trump falls in love with this. If Trump starts falling in love with the good press and starts going away from his Conservative agenda their will be outrage from his base.
