According to a new Poll from The Victims of Communism that was conducted by You Gov, socialism dropped in favorability in 2019.

While 50% of Millennials say they are “somewhat likely†and 20% of Millennials say they are “extremely likely†to vote for a socialist candidate, doubling from 10% in 2018, Americans overall are more hesitant about voting for a “democratic socialist†than they were last year (53% “never†or “hesitant†in 2019 versus 47% in 2018).
Headlines from most media outlets only focused on the millennials supporting socialism aspect. The real story here is the fact that overall Americans are turning against socialism. This is at the same time that Democrats are becoming more and more openly socialist.
