Nancy Pelosi came out against a bipartisan Senate Border Bill that was going to help migrants at the border.

Although FAIR finds the Senate bill woefully inadequate, it is an improvement over the radical bill approved by the House, which further sought to tie the hands of immigration law enforcement. Adding provisions from the House bill to it is a colossal mistake.

However, she has decided to take up the bill.

This is a major loss for Democrats right now but if Republicans aren’t careful it may come back to bite them. This bill is better than the Houses’ but not perfect. The only true way to fix the issues at the Border is to get Border Security which this doesn’t fund.
