Leftist Attack’s Rand Paul at home while he’s mowing his lawn

Around mid-day yesterday Rand Paul was attacked at his house while mowing the lawn.

Fox News:

An irate neighbor allegedly assaulted U.S. Sen. Rand Paul on Friday as the senator was mowing the lawn outside his Bowling Green, Ky., home, according to neighbors.

Kentucky State Police identified the alleged assailant as Rene Boucher, 59, of Bowling Green, charging him with intentionally assaulting Paul, causing minor injury, local law-enforcement officials told Fox News.

They said Boucher was arrested and charged with one count of fourth degree assault – minor injury. He was taken to the nearby Warren County Detention Center, where he was being held on $5,000 bail.

A second neighbor told local news station WNKY-TV that Paul was mowing his lawn around 3 p.m. when Boucher assaulted him. The neighbor said Paul’s and Boucher’s homes share a corner adjacent to their homes and they have been embroiled in an ongoing feud.

Now, good reporting from The Daily Caller shows us that he was a registered Democrat:

Rene Albert Boucher, 59, was arrested and charged with one count of assault in the fourth degree. Paul, a Republican, suffered minor injuries in the attack, details of which are still unknown.

Kentucky State Board of Election voting records list Boucher as a registered Democrat. A person with the same name also works as an anesthesiologist in Bowling Green.

While the media focuses on the so-called violent right wingers it is, in fact, the leftists who are the ones attacking Republican politicians. We must also remember when a left-winger opened fire on Republicans practicing for the Congressional baseball game.
