Kim Jong-un’s half brother was a CIA informant

According to a Wall Street Journal report, Kim Jong-un’s half brother was a CIA informant.

Washington Examiner:

Kim was assassinated in a Malaysian airport in 2017 when women smeared his face with what appeared to be a nerve gas. After reporting the incident to airport officials, he was rushed to the hospital but died in the ambulance.

Jong-Nam was also an informant for several other countries, including China according to reports but the extent he was helpful to these countries is unknown.

A new book by Anna Fifield, titled “The Great Successor” is supposed to unveil more on the relationship between Kim and the intelligence agencies of countries worldwide.

This is certainly a shock. At the time of his murder, all that was known was that Kim Jong-un was responsible for it. How the US deals with a country as secretive as North Korea is widely kept secret but this gives us more insight on just how close the CIA has sources in the Kim regime.
