If Donald Trump’s ban fails he should get stronger, not softer

As many of you may know I was a huge supporter of both of Trumps Travel Bans. Even though the first one had some flaws in terms of the wording it was needed to be rushed out to keep bad people from getting into this country. Now I am not claiming all Muslims are bad but there is no doubt that some of the refugees coming in are bad.

A report we covered from the Department of Homeland Security told us that the FBI is investigating 300+ refugees for links to terrorist activities. That right there should prove the need for better vetting.

Now at Trumps rally last night in Tennessee, he told us that this new ban was “watered” down and even hinted at going back to the original ban.

Now both of these bans are completely legal.

According to U.S Code 1182

“Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.”

The issue is that these judges who clearly aren’t big fans of Trump are abusing the power that is given to them. They used the excuse of Religion to block the first ban and now are using the excuse of tourism to block the revised version? Bogus if you ask me.

If this ban doesn’t pass Trump must forget playing Mr. nice guy and put the ban he wants in. Now if that means taking his original ban back up to the supreme court then that’s fine but I propose a different plan.

I propose the third plan looks like this:

Keep the temporary ban of the 6 countries in the revised ban(Somalia, Iran, Syria, Libya, Sudan, Yemen)

The change comes with who is going to be more extremely vetted. What this means is that they won’t be barred from coming in but they will undergo heavier vetting procedures. In Trump’s revised ban it is only Iraq that receives this treatment.  I propose that we add a few more countries to this list.

The Philippines

Saudia Arabia

Egypt

Venezuela

All of these countries I mentioned are considered “Terrorist safe havens”  and will allow Trump’s ban to be more versatile. No longer can they claim this is an attack on strictly Muslims due to the fact The Philippines and Venezuela are predominantly Christian countries.

America needs its borders to be protected. Muslim extremists are the biggest threat to our national security at this time and yet for some reason, the progressive has fallen in love with them. We look over to Europe and see the damage these extremists when your borders aren’t handled properly.  This is a policy of Trumps that we can not have fail. These judges are stepping over their judicial boundaries and keeping America’s safety in grave danger.
