With 2017 having come to a close let’s look at the RNC vs the DNC in terms of fundraising.
RNC vs DNC in 2017:
RNC more than doubled the DNC: $132.5M vs. $65.9M
RNC has six times more cash on hand than the DNC
RNC has $38.8M net cash, DNC has $423K
RNC has $0 debt, DNC has $6.1M
There are a few things to look at with these numbers. The first is that the image of the DNC is not a good one. Even for leftists, the DNC is now viewed as an establishment they don’t like. It represents an institution that isn’t progressive enough for them. Unless you are an all-out socialist or social justice warrior the Democratic voters likely won’t support you. The next thing is not to take these numbers for granted. The left has a grassroots movement and it must not take power. This movement has no interest in keeping America strong because it hates the very country they live in. If this movement sees a win then they might be able to grow stronger if they are beaten they will fade away.
Republicans now have the upper hand in preparations for 2018. They must continue to follow the agenda Americans voted for and give them candidates they are excited to vote for.
