According to an article from The New York Times, some Border Patrol agents are scared to go out and eat together because they are scared that people will spit in their food.
MSN:
One Border Patrol agent in Tucson said he had been called a “sellout” and a “kid killer.” In El Paso, an agent said he and his colleagues in uniform had avoided eating lunch together except at certain “BP friendly” restaurants because “there’s always the possibility of them spitting in your food.” An agent in Arizona quit last year out of frustration. “Caging people for a nonviolent activity,” he said, “started to eat away at me.”
You can thank the left-wing rhetoric at the border for this. The left has declared war on our Border Patrol agents and they are showing no signs of slowing down. These people are our heroes and work to keep us safe every day. It strikes me as odd that the New York Times can write this article about the Border Patrol agents yet they continue to push false narratives about them adding to the hatred they witness.
