AP reporter Zeke Miller completely made up the claim that the WH escorted reporters out of the room during the question and answer period of the social media summit.
WH escorts out reporters while the first question of Trump is being asked.

This seems to have been just completely made up.
You’re the WH reporter for the AP Zeke, and you can’t even report this straight. Can you please name for us which “reporters” were escorted out by the WH & why? The “reporters” broke down their own equipment and left while @SebGorka was asking the first question. This isn’t hard. https://t.co/BzaAQvVzWg pic.twitter.com/HfkPWDW6FK

This literally never happened.
You all just started clattering around and leaving voluntarily after the President’s remarks.
You are 🤡s

You’re a liar. The POTUS even joked that they were leaving at that point

I am yet to have seen a correction to this tweet so this can’t be chalked up to just a misunderstanding. It is clear that these reporters left and were not escorted out but that didn’t stop Zeke from pushing the falsehood anyway.
