On Monday, Therese Okoumou was found guilty on all charges for climbing the Statue of Liberty in an anti-Trump/ anti-American protest on the 4th of July. She was represented in court by Stormy Daniels’ lawyer, Michael Avenatti.Â
Therese Okoumou is an immigrant originally from the Republic of Congo. After her disrespectful demonstration on July 4th, the statue was closed by authorities for all other visitors on one of its most popular tourist days.
