John Durham stunned by exposing a good chunk of the Spygate scandal in a recent court filing. He exposed that 45th President Donald Trump was spied on and the Clinton campaign likely had something to do with it.
This garnered praise from many conservatives.
However, GOP Rep Jim Banks asked an important question about the probe on Twitter.
Durham publicized the Clinton campaign meeting 5 years and 2 days after it happened.
So… Durham exposed a criminal meeting 2 DAYS AFTER the statute of limitations for most federal felonies expired.
Why did he wait?

Now, there may be a reason for this. The Durham probe to this point has begun to expose the crimes that took place during the 2016 election. For this, the probe should be praised. This doesn’t mean the probe shouldn’t be questioned. Real questions should be asked about why this probe has taken this long.
This news would have been good to have while Trump was still in office. Sadly, due to how long Durham took, this came out after Biden was already in the Presidency.
