Remember when we were supposed to be worried about foreign interference in our elections? It is amazing that we are in a time where something like this wouldn’t be political suicide. If we don’t have citizens then we don’t actually have a country. The only thing that defines a country is its citizens. So the real point Warren is making here is that being an American citizen doesn’t matter. The real message Warren is sending is that people who aren’t citizens have just as much of a say as you do.
