Although Republicans did fail to repeal Obamacare Trump’s Tax Plan took out a major part of it. That part is called the individual mandate. What the individual mandate did was about unconstitutional as it gets. It was the government forcing you to buy a product and if you didn’t they’d tax you. The reasoning the Obama administration gave was to keep the price of healthcare down for low-income families. The facts tell a different story.  80% of those paying the Obamacare individual mandate tax make less than 50k a year. So what this means is that thanks to Obama low-income families were forced to pay a tax because they couldn’t afford Obamacare’s rising premiums and got no healthcare in return.
