President Trump has donated a total of 1.4 Million dollars to the Federal government since taking office.
Breitbart:
Being president has indeed been costly for Trump, who again is not taking a salary to execute the office. Trump has, each quarter as president dating back to early 2017, donated $100,000—for a total of $400,000 annually—to a different agency in government.
In sum, President Trump has already donated more than a million dollars—$1.4 million to be precise—to the federal government. At the end of this year, the president will hit $1.6 million in salary donations to the federal government and, assuming he gets a second term ,he will have donated by the end of it a total of $3.2 million back to the federal government.
On top of this fact President Trump has lost a ton of money since he is fighting for our country:
CNN:
President Donald Trump said in October 2019 that being president is costing him money. Lots of it.
“Whether I lost $2 billion, $5 billion or less, it doesn’t make any difference,” Trump said. “I don’t care. I’m doing this for the country. I’m doing it for the people.”
Well, he definitely cares. And now we know — thanks to the new Forbes 400 list released Tuesday — how much less rich Trump is today than when he ran for and won the presidency in 2016.
In 2016, Trump was worth $3.7 billion, according to Forbes. That dropped to $3.1 billion in 2017 and held there for 2018 and 2019. But this year Trump’s net worth dropped to $2.5 billion. That $600 million decline led Trump to drop from the 275th richest person in America in 2019 to the 352nd richest in 2020 — a drop of 77 spots. (It took a net worth of $2.1 billion to make the top 400.)
Why the dip in Trump’s fortune? The coronavirus pandemic. “The value of office buildings, hotels and resorts have taken a hit amid the pandemic,” reads the Forbes release on Trump’s wealth.
Of course, that hasn’t stopped the MSM from attacking him with a phony tax story:
President Trump took to Twitter to dump cold water on a New York Times report claiming that he only paid $750 in taxes in 2016 and 2017.
The Fake News Media, just like Election time 2016, is bringing up my Taxes & all sorts of other nonsense with illegally obtained information & only bad intent. I paid many millions of dollars in taxes but was entitled, like everyone else, to depreciation & tax credits…..
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 28, 2020
…..Also, if you look at the extraordinary assets owned by me, which the Fake News hasn’t, I am extremely under leveraged – I have very little debt compared to the value of assets. Much of this information is already on file, but I have long said that I may release….
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 28, 2020
…..Financial Statements, from the time I announced I was going to run for President, showing all properties, assets and debts. It is a very IMPRESSIVE Statement, and also shows that I am the only President on record to give up my yearly $400,000 plus Presidential Salary!

Trump also blasted this while talking to the press:
BREAKING: President Trump on NYT report on his tax returns:
“It’s totally fake news. Made up. Fake.” pic.twitter.com/HkU5YoGeAq
— Breaking911 (@Breaking911) September 27, 2020
The New York Times released an article attempting to expose President Trump for supposed issues with his taxes. However, it actually ended up exonerating him in the left-wing conspiracy regarding him being owned by Russia.
Lol at this offhand detail in the Times piece: “Nor do [tax records] reveal any previously unreported connections to Russia.” https://t.co/XDQjag1gwC
— Matt Taibbi (@mtaibbi) September 27, 2020
The National Pulse:
The article also admits “the filings will leave many questions unanswered, many questioners unfulfilled,” and also kills off the idea that President Trump’s finances were somehow linked to Russia. The piece reads: “Nor do [the tax returns] reveal any previously unreported connections to Russia.”
The Trump Tax Returns illustrate three primary things:
1) No unreported connections to Russia
2) MSM Journos & DNC Hacks do NOT understand how running a business and managing assets works tax-wise. Or any-wise.
3) Unlike Biden, President Trump didn’t profit from his office.

NYT editor @deanbaquet “We are not making [Trump’s tax] records themselves public because we do not want to jeopardize our sources, who have taken enormous personal risks to help inform the public.” https://t.co/NrGT0NFRHe

Evidence supports President Trump’s claims:
Twitter user Alexandriabrown pointed out a part of the New York Times report that seemingly no one else saw. Alexandriabrown pointed out that the New York Times seemingly admitted that President Trump actually paid $1 million in 2016 and $4.2 million in 2017 in taxes.
So. I finally read the NYT Trump tax story because I wanted to see what line was being reported for taxes owed and I came across this about the $750 in 2016 and 2017. Per the NYT own story, Trump actually paid to the US Treasury $1 million in 2016 and $4.2 million in 2017. pic.twitter.com/ltnlMG0mKW
— alexandriabrown (@alexthechick) September 28, 2020
Read that closely. Trump PAID, as in transferred to the US Treasury, $1 million in 2016 and $4.2 million in 2017. Note also that most of the overpayment was rolled forward, not refunded. The $750 figure is an ADDITIONAL $750. Thus every single story saying he paid $750 is a lie.
— alexandriabrown (@alexthechick) September 28, 2020
It is not simply a lie, it proves that the person making the statement either did not read the story itself (BY THE INSANITY OF CTHULHU READ THE SOURCES) or lack the mental ability to comprehend that the NYT itself claims that Trump paid $1,000,000 in 2016 and $4,200,00 in 2017.
— alexandriabrown (@alexthechick) September 28, 2020
The claim that Trump paid only $750 in Federal taxes in 2016 and 2017 is thus a complete and total lie which is easily disproven by the Times own story. I mind when people lie. I mind more when people lie to me about something I can disprove in minutes.
— alexandriabrown (@alexthechick) September 28, 2020
Also there’s something even more worrisome than that the NYT appears not to have seen the actual returns. Read this closely and you’ll see something very disturbing indeed. pic.twitter.com/m5B6IVSkMo
— alexandriabrown (@alexthechick) September 28, 2020
Did you see it? The years of employee compensation? So the NYT was given compensation information for people who are not Donald Trump. Yeah, that right there should make everyone spit fire from their eyes. What the hell right does the NYT have to employee compensation?
— alexandriabrown (@alexthechick) September 28, 2020
You want to claim Trump is fair game since he’s President, fine, whatever. But what people who worked for him made in the decades when he wasn’t a politician is fair how? Riddle me that and you better spin so hard the Earth rotates backwards.
— alexandriabrown (@alexthechick) September 28, 2020
Also, I’m going to post this one more time for those in the back. Trump paid $1 million in taxes in 2016 and $4.2 million in taxes in 2017 and, per the NYT story, most of that money was rolled forward. Stop LYING. Start READING. Just. Stop. Lying. pic.twitter.com/sHrTbA5P3k

The Gateway Pundit:
“Trump PAID, as in transferred to the US Treasury, $1 million in 2016 and $4.2 million in 2017. Note also that most of the overpayment was rolled forward, not refunded. The $750 figure is an ADDITIONAL $750. Thus every single story saying he paid $750 is a lie.“
