Days after the January 6th capitol riots Trump was banned from Twitter:
Since this banning, many have wondered if Trump would ever rejoin the platform.
We now know he will never rejoin even if they decided to unban him.
Former President Donald Trump’s days on Twitter have reportedly come and gone, even if the social media giant eventually removes his indefinite ban.
An unnamed Trump associate who has regular contact with the former president told Politico Wednesday that “there’s not a chance in hell [Trump] gets back on Twitter.” They added that Trump “made [Twitter] the premier app for news, debates, and gossip during his presidency,” and that the former president has “zero interest” in rejoining the platform after being kicked off less than two weeks before leaving office.
Trump is also planning on starting his own social media company.
Former President Donald Trump will make a triumphant return to social media within the next few months — and with his own service that will “completely redefine the game,” his top adviser said Sunday.
Jason Miller told Fox News’ “Media Buzz” that the former commander-in-tweet will be back online in two to three months, and will launch a new platform that he claimed would attract tens of millions of users.”I do think we’re going to see President Trump returning to social media in probably about two or three months here with his own platform,” Miller said. “This is something that I think will be the hottest ticket in social media.”
“It’s going to completely redefine the game, and everybody is going to be waiting and watching to see what exactly President Trump does, but it will be his own platform,” Miller said.
Twitter continues to dig its own grave.
Their censorship has not only led to competitors popping up but also a mass exodus of users.
