Job openings decreased in November and the number of American quitting the work force crept up to a record high 4.5 million.
The number of vacant jobs fell to 10.6 million in November, down from around 11 million in October, the Labor Department’s Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey showed. The job openings rate fell to 6.6%.
