Twitter User Kyle Lamb tweeted out data that shows states with more stringent lockdown measures are actually fairing worse during the Chinese Coronavirus.
Someone didn’t believe me when I told them that more stringent lockdown states actually are faring (much) worse. 49 states + DC grouped by days in stay at home order or non-essential business closures (N.Y. excluded for fairer comparisons). Check this out… pic.twitter.com/pXjaP13YYw

Rate of increase of cases since March 24:
18 states that issued stay at home order on or before March 24: 52.9
7 states that didn’t issue stay at home order + 9 that issued on or after April 1: 59.1
Ave. no. of cases per 100k at time of SAH orders:
First 18: 11
Last 16: 37— Kyle Lamb (@kylamb8) May 19, 2020
Is this in itself an attack on lockdown measures? No. However, it does show once again that those pushing lockdowns simply don’t have data on their side. We also have the fact that the states with more stringent lockdowns are run by Democrats.
Time to start opening up.
