Attorney General William Barr did nothing to let the American people know that Hunter Biden was under investigation.
During a segment on The Absolute Truth, Rudy Giuliani ripped Barr over his handling of Hunter Biden and his laptop telling him that “He should be ashamed of himself.”

The FBI first had access to this information [ i.e. the Hunter Biden laptop] for two and a half years. It deliberately covered it up for a year and a half — and so did phony [Bill] Barr who is making a pathetic fool of himself now. He held back that hard drive for a year and a half when it would have completely cleared the President of the United States. There never would have been an impeachment. He should be ashamed of himself, and he should give up his license to practice law.

Barr has previously admitted the suppression of the laptop story had an impact on the 2020 election.
Former Attorney General Bill Barr proclaimed that the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story by legacy media and big tech corporations “definitely” had an effect on the 2020 presidential election.
Barr recalled when a letter signed by more than 50 former senior U.S. intelligence officials – including former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper — claimed the allegations regarding a laptop purportedly owned by President Joe Biden’s son “has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation” was released in October 2020.
“As soon as this letter came out from the so-called intelligence specialists, the DNI, John Radcliffe at the time, and the FBI – which worked for me – both came out and said this was not the result of Russian disinformation,” Barr said during a Thursday appearance on “Jesse Watters Primetime.” “The media ignored that completely just kept on going with the disinformation lie.”
