According to the Reactiva Tijuana Foundation, a caravan with 15,000 migrants is forming and making its way to the US border.
Another migrant caravan — this one estimated at 15,000 people — is preparing to leave Honduras on Jan. 15, according to migrant rights advocates and Spanish-language media.
“They say they are even bigger and stronger than the last caravan,” said Irma Garrido, a member of the migrant advocacy group Reactiva Tijuana Foundation.
Trump tweeted about this before the report came out
Now, it is important to keep in mind that these caravans usually lose members as they make their journey. The last Caravan was rumored to have 7,000-12,000 but that was not anywhere near the number that reached the border.
That is not to say this isn’t a problem, however. 15,000 migrants are attempting the journey and that is putting all 15,000 in danger as well as the sovereignty of the US.
