On a rainy Saturday, in Washington D.C, President Trump made an unexpected visit to Arlington National Cemetery to pay his respects to fallen members of the United States Armed Forces, as part of the annual Wreath’s Across America event.Â

The event, which is held every December, aims to “remember, honor, and teach†about those who served, and perished, fighting for America’s freedom. In addition to Arlington National Cemetery, Wreaths Across America Day is observed at more than 1,400 cemeteries in all 50 states, as well as at sea and abroad.
President Trump arrived at the wreath laying ceremony at about 2:15 pm ET, where he observed tributes to fallen soldiers and the laying of Christmas wreaths on graves.
“They do a great job, a really great job. Thank you,” President Trump said during his visit.
