Joe Biden is now calling on Congress to suspend the federal gas tax.
This will likely only help Americans for about 12 days.
This of course is simply an attempt by the Biden administration to get good headlines. They know this will do almost nothing to solve the problem.
Barack Obama agrees. Back in 2008, he called a “gas tax holiday” a “”gimmick” and said that it doesn’t fix the actual problem.
