This is what professional sports have become. Although these athletes used the American system to get where they are today they have no respect for it. America isn’t perfect but it is by far the best country in the world. The National Anthem and the American Flag represent that greatness. It represents our brave soldiers who fight for freedom across the world. It represents our brave Police Officers who put their lives on the line every day. It represents everyday people who do amazing things to make this world a better place.
One thing is clear folks. These athletes have turned their backs on the country that made what they are doing possible. It is time we no longer support them.
