More than 70 students hold Pro-Gun Walkout at Rockledge High

While the Mainstream Media continues to push the leftist gun grabbing narrative 70 students from Rockledge High held a Pro-gun walkout.

mynews13:

Dozens of Rockledge High students walked out of school briefly Friday, but this protest was for what they said were “gun rights.”

More than 70 students gathered on the Rockledge High practice field to rally in support of the Second Amendment.

The students spoke about exercising their right to bear arms.

“We are not backing down. We aren’t taking no for an answer,” said Anna Delaney, a junior gun-rights advocate who co-organized the rally, which lasted about about 25 minutes.

Student organizers said they were affected by the Parkland school shooting and respected the national gun control walkout many of their fellow students participated in several weeks ago.

But after they said they were denied their own pro-Second Amendment rally several times by school administrators and school leaders, they were finally given permission to gather at Rockledge High School on Friday.

“We should not have our rights taken because someone else does something wrong,” said student Chloe Deaton, another co-organizer of the event.

“We are protecting the Second Amendment, and it should not be infringed upon,” she said.

Delaney and Deaton said they have the support of kids at other schools who value the same opinions — even some Parkland students who watched the rally online.

School administrators monitored the walkout, but there were no issues.

This is powerful. The first reason is the fact they are doing this because they love the 2nd Amendment and not because they are getting off school. They fought for this and are doing this actually on their own unlike the March For Our Lives protest which was funded by Hollywood and pushed by the leftist establishment. This March also had an American feel to it. Unlike The March For Our Lives American Flags and Don’t Tread On Me Flags are flying high. As has been reported Emma Gonalez gave a speech at The March For Our Lives March with a Cuban Flag on her arm.
