Here is a list of GOP Senators who are not seeking re-election.(So far)
To date, five Republicans senators — Blunt, Richard Shelby (Alabama), Richard Burr (North Carolina), Pat Toomey (Pennsylvania) and Rob Portman (Ohio) — have all announced that they will not seek another term next November. It’s not a coincidence that all five are considered remnants of the Republican Party of George W. Bush and have struggled to adjust to the new Trump-led GOP.
“The rash of GOP retirements, likely to avoid Trump madness in the primaries, shows you Trump still isn’t done destroying the party,” tweeted conservative commentator (and CNN contributor) Amanda Carpenter after Blunt’s retirement announcement. “Onwards we go.”

But even without taking a flight to Alaska, Trump may not have to work very hard to see Congress tilt even further in his direction. The initial wave of Senate retirements is opening new opportunities for Trump-friendly candidates to snatch primary victories — and maybe, though not definitely, Senate seats next year.

Let’s hope we have more RINOs end up resigning. One way that RINOs stay in power is by using the excuse of incumbency. If they resign then the Republican Party can run true Conservatives that represent their voters.
There is no question incumbents not running for re-election puts the seat at risk but it is a risk the Republican Party needs to take if they want to get rid of the RINOs in the party.
The senate was one of the last parts of the GOP that the Republican voter didn’t have control over. The Senate was the hub of the GOP establishment. One by one they are announcing they won’t run again.
Next on the list is Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski.
