Its pretty obvious that he didn’t join in on the chant. Even MSNBC’s criminal justice correspondent debunked this myth. 

“I guess that was sort of a memory reflex for him,” Williams said. “I’m not sure that he joined the chant. He seemed to be saying that he recognized it, but remember, this was something that he did join … in 2016, when the crowds would yell ‘Lock her up,’ … I’m not sure that he joined it, but I’m sure it was, as he said, familiar to him.”
