This is of course true. Whoever the Dems tapped is someone they want to run for President in 2024. However, I think Republicans have to realize that 2024 doesn’t matter to the Democrats at this point. Joe Biden will not be in charge of his own administration if he is elected in 2020. The true President is going to be Kamala Harris. She is going to be the one making all of the real decisions behind the scenes. My guess is that she will be the one who is on T.V the most.
I also wouldn’t be shocked if Biden is removed before the end of the first term. In which case Kamala Harris would become the President.
