The Biden administration finally is set to announce they will be blocking Russian oil imports to the United States.Â
This is a move that the GOP has been calling for since the beginning of the Russian invasion of the Ukraine.
However, GOP Rep Chip Roy pointed out that this alone should not be celebrated. If this banning is not paired with an increase in domestic US oil production the American people will suffer these consequences.
