According to a new CNN Poll, Joe Biden is the current favorite for winning the Democratic primary if he ran.
The first @CNN numbers for 2020 Democratic presidential nomination just released this morning:

Avenatti 1%
Gillibrand 1%
Klobuchar 1%

Although on the surface this looks like a big lead looking at this same Poll from 2014 you notice that Hillary was far more likely at that time.
Here’s what the @CNN polling looked like in November 2014 –>
Clinton 65%
Warren 10%
Biden 9%
Sanders 5%
Cuomo 1%
Patrick 1%
Webb 1%
O’Malley <1%— Ryan Struyk (@ryanstruyk) October 14, 2018
The same Poll in 2014 on the Republican side didn’t even list Trump as a possible candidate.
Here’s what the @CNN polling looked like in November 2014 on the Republican side –>

The bottom line is that Politics changes too quickly for anyone to accurately predict who will run against Trump in 2020.
