2019: Gun controlled California had most mass shootings

Gun Controlled California had the most mass shootings in 2019.

AP:

California, with some of the most strict gun laws in the country, had the most, with eight such mass slayings. But nearly half of U.S. states experienced a mass slaying, from big cities like New York, to tiny towns like Elkmont, Alabama, with a population of just under 475 people.

Breitbart pointed out the strict gun control laws that California had:

California has universal background checks, gun registration requirements, gun confiscation laws, a 10-day waiting period on gun purchases, an “assault weapons” ban, a one-handgun-a-month purchase limit, a ban on campus carry for self-defense, and a ban on teachers being armed to shoot back if under attack. They also require would-be gun buyers to acquire a safety certificate from the state before being allowed to make a gun purchase.

The bottom line is that Gun Control doesn’t work. Criminals will always find a way to get a firearm and gun control measures only act as a way to stop law-abiding Americans from getting guns and protecting themselves.
