Unvaccinated employees at the DNC might lose their jobs if they don’t get the vaccine.
Unvaccinated Democratic National Committee employees have been directed that they could lose their jobs if they refuse inoculation against COVID-19.
Employees were told through an email Monday evening that unless they had a documented medical exemption that they could possibly “face termination” by choosing to remain unvaccinated, Politico reported . Monica Guardiola, the chief operations officer for the DNC, explained in the email that this policy, which applies to those doing in-person work at the DNC headquarters, was “a critical tool” in order to continue to fight against COVID-19 and save additional lives.
“This is part of the President’s national strategy and is a critical tool to combat COVID-19 and save lives in the months ahead,” Guardiola said in the email.
Beginning Jan. 3, 2022, all employees will be required to return for in-person work, according to the email, but some employees will begin office work between October and November of this year.
