Georgia will officially have all of its COVID restrictions lifted.
Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp announced on Wednesday that all remaining COVID-19 restrictions will be lifted from the state starting Thursday.
“We know hard-working Georgians can not endure another year like that last. That is why beginning tomorrow we are loosening the remaining restrictions on our economy here in Georgia,” Kemp said in a video statement Wednesday.
This comes one day after Georgia Governor Brian Kemp announced his opposition to Vaccine Passports:
