Migrant encounters hit a record high in May.
239,416 migrant encounters were recorded by the Department Of Homeland Security.
It gets worse.
We now know that 440,000 have gotten away since October 1st.
Border gotaways are migrants who were not apprehended or turned themselves in and those who got past border agents.
NEW: Per CBP sources, there have been 440,000 known gotaways at the border since FY’22 began on October 1st.
DHS reports 390,000 known gotaways in all of FY’21.

I want to also make clear that this number likely isn’t everyone that got across. Knowledge of how many illegal aliens actually are in the United States is not exactly known. The same goes for those entering the United States.
This is a disaster.
