Biden Admin Building Tent Cities For Migrants–Will Cost $24.6M A Month

Biden’s border disaster continues.

The Biden administration is building tent cities for migrants in the US.

It will cost American taxpayers 24,000,000 a month.

From The Daily Mail:

The Biden administration will have to rebuild large-scale encampments known as ‘court tents’ in the Texas border cities of Laredo and Brownsville as it gears up to reinstate a Trump-era border policy next month to make asylum-seekers wait in Mexico for hearings in U.S. immigration court.

The administration said it’s planning on resuming the policy in mid-November.

The tent cities, known as ‘tent courts,’ come at a monthly total cost of $24.6 million to operate. Asylum-seekers who have returned to Mexico would have their immigration status hearings in those cities.

The Biden administration said it has hired contractors to build them up.

Just rebuilding them will cost the government $14 million, the Washington Post reported.
