Mnuchin tried to play it down:
“During the meeting with Senate Republicans today, Secretary Mnuchin used several mathematical examples for illustrative purposes, but he never implied this would be the case,†Treasury spokeswoman Monica Crowley told Bloomberg.
It is amazing how some Senate Republicans are still leaking against President Trump. This leak could only have happened for two reasons.
The first could have been to get the Trump Adminstration to back more agressive polcies. By leaking this out they might be trying to force the hand of President Trump.
The second is to hurt the Trump Adminstration. By leaking out what seems to be one of the worst scenarios the hysteria surronding the economy would continue to build.
What a joke.
