Truth Social on Tuesday ranks as the No. 1 free app on the online iOS apps store, with the Twitter app in second.
Truth Social – started by former President Trump, who’s been banned from Twitter – got off rocky start in when it launched in February. It immediately became among the most popular apps. But demand stagnated and fell as the startup was plagued by long wait-times to join, server-issues and Trump’s own decision not to use it.
Trump celebrated the news.
