Top Israeli Soccer team adds Trump to team name

Beitar Jerusalem is now changing their name to Beitar Trump Jerusalem in honor of Trump moving the US embassy to Jerusalem.

Here is the statement from the team:

“The chairmen of the club, the owner Eli Tabib and the executive manager Eli Ohana have decided to add to the club’s title the name of the American President who made history, and from now on will be called Beitar Trump Jerusalem.

We have the greatest love for the president, and we will win.

“For 70 years, Jerusalem has been awaiting international recognition, until President Donald Trump, in a courageous move, recognised Jerusalem as the eternal capital of Israel.

“President Trump has shown courage and true love of the Israeli people and their capital, and these days other countries are following his lead in giving Jerusalem its rightful status.”
