The House Democrats have asked Devin Nunes to recuse himself from the panel’s investigation into Russias interference in the presidential election. This comes from a report in the New York Times.
Mr. Schiff and Nancy Pelosi are the two Democrats driving this movement. They have called for this because Nunes met on White House grounds with a source who showed him American intelligence reports. These reports proved the surveillance of Donald Trump and his associates. As well as the illegally unmasking of private U.S Citizens.
Mr. Schiff had this to say
” The public cannot have the necessary confidence that matters involving the president’s campaign or transition team can be objectively investigated or overseen by the chairman” Â
Translation: Russian collusion still has turned up zero evidence. Evidence to support Trumps “wiretap” claims has turned up.
Now it is clear that Nunes is fit for this job and is operating bipartisanly. Before Nunes discovered the evidence he was on record stating it was a “dark day” for Trump. He made no assumptions and has stuck strictly to the facts. Schiff is freaking out because he has yet to see the evidence that led Nunes to his change of heart.
All the Democrats know right now is that they are in trouble. If it comes out that Donald Trump was correct in his allegation he was spied on and they also find no evidence of Russian collusion in the election(which they already did in terms of voter fraud) the Democratic leadership will have nothing to attack Trump on.
Devin Nunes you must continue being a part of this very important investigation. You have information that nobody else has. The power is in your hands.
The left went on a witch hunt and it turned up the skeletons that were in their own closet. Â It is only a matter of time before the truth comes out.
