Last Friday Debbie Schlussel accused Sean Hannity of sexual harassment on Pat Campbell’s radio show.
Here is part of what she said:
“He had some event at a bookstore where he signed his book for people standing in line.
He asked me to come meet him at this book signing. So I met him there and it was very awkward. He had me up there with him while he signed books and I felt very weird.”
“These people don’t really know me and they didn’t come for me to sign their books. Then I left to get ready for the show, and he said, ‘Why don’t you come back with me to my hotel?’ and I said no, I have to get ready for the show.”
“LET ME BE CLEAR THE COMMENTS ABOUT ME ON A RADIO SHOW THIS WEEK by this individual ARE 100 percent false and a complete fabrication,” Hannity wrote. “This individual is a serial harasser who has been lying about me for well over a decade. The individual has a history of making provably false statements against me in an effort to slander, smear and besmirch my reputation.”
Now, these claims come directly after Bill O’Reilly was released from Fox due to “Sexual Harassment” claims.
The story comes in the fact it took her only 48 hours to walk back her accusations.
“I would never accuse him of that. Sexual harassment has a special meaning under the law, and I would never accuse him of that,”
The issue here is that you did Mrs. Schlussel. You accused him of making sexual advances toward you and portrayed him as a sexual predator.
This was a clear personal attack on Sean Hannity. This was an attempt by Debbie to get her few seconds of fame. Everybody knows that her star has beeing dying for years and this was her attempt to jump on the anti-conservative bandwagon.
People on all sides should be upset about this. It is awful that somebody could falsify claims as big as this. Hannity could have lost his job and his reputation will be slightly tarnished because let’s face it some people want to believe it. The bigger issue with this is the fact that it ruins the reputation of other people who claim they were sexual assaulted. With all the “false flag” sexual harassment suites we have seen in the past it makes everyone skeptical about how real the claims are.
It is time we stand up to these false accusers before they destroy women’s rights in the workplace.
