According to Samatha Power’s testimony, she was not behind the frequent unmaskings that were attributed to her. Power’s told the House Intelligence Committee this last week during a closed-door interview.
Weeks ago reports surfaced of Samatha Powers requesting the unmasking of Trump officials on a day to day basis. Power’s now dumped cold water on those findings claiming she herself wasn’t behind them.
Report: Power Sought to Unmask Americans on an ‘Almost Daily Basis’
This raises a ton more questions. It isn’t crazy to wonder why somebody within the Obama Administration would not only need to unmask a Trump associate but also why they needed to hide who they were when they did it. We also need to find out if Powers willingly allowed this to happen or if she was in the dark on the issue of unmasking.
