According to a report from STAT members of Congress have received medications used to treat Althmizers.
A Washington D.C. pharmacy revealed on Wednesday that they deliver medications that treat “serious health problems†to members of Congress, including medications to treat Alzheimer’s disease.
Pharmacy owner, Dr. Mike Kim, said that he has “gotten used to†knowing highly sensitive information about some of the most powerful people in Washington, STAT reported.
“At first it’s cool, and then you realize, I’m filling some drugs that are for some pretty serious health problems as well. And these are the people that are running the country,†Kim said, listing treatments for conditions like diabetes and Alzheimer’s.
Kim expressed concern over some of the serious health problems that members of Congress have because the diseases could severely limit their ability to serve in their elected positions.
“It makes you kind of sit back and say, ‘Wow, they’re making the highest laws of the land and they might not even remember what happened yesterday.’â€
The pharmacy, which fills up to 100 prescriptions per day for Congress, delivers the medications to the “secretive†Office of the Attending Physician — lawmakers only have to pay an annual fee of approximately $600 to use the office.
One of the funniest parts of this entire article was the fact that John McCain gave a quote for it.
He said:
“They’re good people, they’re always courteous. It’s a very difficult job they had, never had anything but the utmost cooperation from them — but don’t tell them that! They’ve injured me on several occasions,†Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) joked recently to STAT.
Why is it funny you might ask? Well, it’s funny because the media calls anyone who says this a conspiracy theorist. It has been clear for awhile now that members of not just Congress but members of all branches of our government have mental health issues. Whether it’s McCain’s uncontrolled rambling when speaking or Nancy Pelosi not knowing which President is in office we clearly have members who are unfit. As usual, the alternative media was right and the mainstream media was wrong.
