Breitbart got a hold of an audio tape from Paul Ryan back on Oct 10th.  In this tape, Paul Ryan is shown attempting to undermine Donald Trump.

“I am not going to defend Donald Trump—not now, not in the future,â€Â
Obviously, nobody would defend what Trump said in his Hollywood tapes. His words were ones that we all disagree with but we also realize nobody is perfect. Â With that being said this quote goes much deeper than that. Paul Ryan was looking for a way to destroy Trump and he thought this was a way to do it. Using the tapes as ammunition he attempted to undermine Trump and destroy support within the Republican party. Paul Ryan wants to be the person holding the torch for the Republican party. He is a power hungry system Republican that realizes Trump is the only person who can actually put him in his place.
“Look, you guys know I have real concerns with our nominee,†Ryan continued. “I hope you appreciate that I’m doing what I think is best for you, the members, not what’s best for me. So, I want to do what’s best for our members, and I think this is the right thing to do. I’m going to focus my time on campaigning for House Republicans. I talked to a bunch of you over the last 72 hours and here is basically my takeaway. To everyone on this call, this is going to be a turbulent month. Many of you on this call are facing tough reelections. Some of you are not. But with respect to Donald Trump, I would encourage you to do what you think is best and do what you feel you need to do. Personally, you need to decide what’s best for you. And you all know what’s best for you where you are.â€
Here is the true Paul Ryan coming out. He was attempting to coerce other Republicans to take their backing of Trump away and pull the rug out from under him.
He then went on to mention he by no means wanted Clinton to be President and that the thought of 2 years of Clinton and a Democratic congress was a scary thought. This is hypocrisy at its finest. Paul Ryan did everything he could to bash Trump throughout the election and attempted to cut Republican support for him in half. He didn’t care if Hilary got in because frankly, she is so corrupt she makes Ryan look like an angel.
This audio emerging isn’t going to help Paul Ryan much in his attempt to push his new healthcare plan. Trump already has stated he is open to changing parts of it and will listen to any ideas. This may put the nail in the coffin for what is a Healthcare bill designed to see Trump fail.
This audio reaffirms what many Republicans have thought for quite some time. Paul Ryan is a threat to the Republican party and someone who can’t be trusted. Unlike the extreme progressive left, Paul is actually intelligent. He knows exactly how to work the system and is a great con man when he needs to be. Paul Ryan has and will only cause Donald Trump trouble in hopes of cutting off his supportive base. Trump now that you have clear evidence that Ryan will never actually defend you it is time to drop him. Trump and all of the Republicans must relieve him of his duties as Speaker of the House and begin to clean out the swamp on the Republican side of the aisle.
