The Mainstream Media has once again smeared Rep. Steve King, this time over his comments regarding being able to relate to Jesus’s persecution.

This is a clear smear and attack on King. Here is what he actually said:
“For all that I’ve been through — and it seems even strange for me to say it — but I am at a certain peace, and it is because of a lot of prayers for me,” King said at a town hall in Cherokee, Iowa.
“And, when I have to step down to the floor of the House of Representatives, and look up at those 400-and-some accusers, you know we just passed through Easter and Christ’s passion, and I have better insight into what He went through for us partly because of that experience.”
It is pretty clear to understand what he is saying. He is clearly stating that his sufferings opened up a new way for him to relate with Jesus. He never once claimed that his struggle is on the same level as the Crucifixion of Jesus. Of course, the left and MSM will pair up now to mock King.
If only the Media would look to the Democratic party to find a complete disregard for Jesus and Christianity as a whole.
