According to a Fox News poll, 40% of Americans think that the Mainstream media is a bigger threat than White Supremacists.

The poll, which was conducted by telephone of 1006 registered voters in the wake of the violence that took place in Charlottesville, found that 40 percent of respondents believe the ‘news media’ presents a greater threat to the United States than white supremacists. However, 47 percent of people said they believed white supremacists present a greater threat.
This poll showcases the level of distrust the American people have for the media. With the constant lying and hatred, they spew towards Trump supporters this polls findings should come as no surprise.
Now, the media is likely going to use this poll to paint all Trump supporters as White Supremacists but don’t fall into that trap. The mainstream media holds a lot of power in America today. Everybody remembers their roll in helping to start the war in Iraq. We should also be able to look at recent events to see how the media impacts society. Their constant pushing of anti-Russian sentiment has led to a breakdown in relations between America and Russia. Obviously, White Supremacy is a threat in America but to act like they have much of an impact in America today is just ridiculous. Remeber the saying “The pen is mightier than the sword” it couldn’t be more true in this case.
