Below is a list of 78 Terrorist Attacks. This list was put out by The White House stating these attacks did not receive enough attention from the mainstream media. Now I disagree with the Trump administration on one thing as it applies to this list. Some of the events listed were covered and for an extended period of time. Saying that the media didn’t cover things such as the Orlando shooting or the attacks in Paris is stretching it. Could you make the argument they should’ve covered them more? Sure, but that isn’t a very strong point to make when they covered both for weeks. With that being said I find it sad that once again the media has missed the boat on the issues at hand. The coverage of this story has strictly been complaining about this list. They pointed out how it seems rushed. They pointed out the few errors with it but once again they were so worried about Trump they missed the actual story here. The story here is that terrorism is truly a threat to America and it is growing. This list shows us just how dangerous these extremist can be once they assimilate into society. Once they are allowed into these countries they commit acts of terror. They disrupt the civilization and commit acts of violence in places where you would never expect. Al Qaeda likes to commit fewer overall attacks but make the ones they do bigger. ISIS likes to do smaller stuff but they surely do a lot of attacking. This list is just another reason Trump’s ban was and still is the right thing in terms of keeping Americans safe. It is sad the mainstream media continues to miss these narratives.
