This is exactly what is wrong with the church today. The Catholic church has been taken over by people who are unwilling to fight for what they believe in and rather they choose to pass religion off as just being kind to everyone. The left has no interest in actually caring about God or morals. They want to take the parts of Religion they like and throw the rest away. They want to use Religion to incorporate their moral relativism worldview.
