Liz Cheney officially announced she is running for re-election on Thursday.
Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), who faces steep opposition from GOP leadership and a Trump-backed challenger, announced her bid for reelection Thursday.
The Wyoming congresswoman, who was first elected to the House in 2016 and is the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, is seeking her fourth term.
She doesn’t have a chance. New polling shows that she is trailing her challenger big.
