According to a new report, Lara Trump is considering a run for U.S. Senate in 2022.

From Newsweek:

Lara Trump is considering a run for the Senate in 2022. Former President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law is reportedly weighing her options for the soon-to-be open seat in North Carolina.

Trump is married to Eric Trump and has been a surrogate for the former president, making media appearances defending him and criticizing his successor, President Joe Biden.

The 38-year-old is considering mounting a campaign to succeed Republican Senator Richard Burr, according to an Associated Press (AP) report on Thursday. Burr will not seek reelection next year.

The AP article cites two people who have recently discussed the matter with Lara Trump but who spoke about their private conversations on condition of anonymity.

It is important to note that she has not officially said she would.

If she does run it would end up being a huge win for the Republican Party and the American people.

She would replace Senator Richard Burr (R-NC) who voted to impeach Trump:

She also would give Trump a trustworthy ally in the Senate if he decided that he would run.

The success of the Republican Party moving forward will rely heavily on the candidates that are chosen.

As the Georgia run-off showed weak candidates are just not going to cut it anymore. Republican voters are tired of voting for RINOs who don’t stand up for them.
